The venue was excellent, the facilities were good, though could do with more catering facilities. Big disappointment with the number of tv screens, we were in stand H and there was only 1 screen visible which was too far away to seen track positions. According to the official site map there should have been numerous screens around the track opposite these and adjacent stands.

Well organised from start to finish - easy to get to the event by car, and into and out of the car parks. Great viewing whether in a grandstand seat or sat on a grass bank. Plenty of big screens. Loads of hospitality and merchandise outlets all round the circuit, which you can walk all the way round. Plenty of off-circuit entertainment. Very disappointed to discover that this entire event was declared alcohol-free. The very expensive Heineken 'beer' was also alcohol-free at vast expense. No reasons on display as to why this decision had been made, at this particular circuit.

we had weekend tickets and travelled from Barcelona each day by the Sagales coach service. this worked very well - only major queue was leaving the circuit on Sunday - I would suggest getting back to the coach pick up location asap after the race. That said, we still took the opportunity to walk on the track to watch the presentation & celebrations & then walked to the coach - queued for abut 30 minutes but the queue was twice the size by the time we left at about 4.45pm. I think 'no alcohol' policy at the circuit resulted in a more docile crowd - which suited me. Soft drinks quite pricey - 4.5 euros for a bottle of coke. we bought our picnic at the bus station each day. Sitting in section 5 of stand H and had a great view of last few bends - cars were on view for at least 20 seconds - i.e. they didn't just 'whoosh past'. screen were a long way away and I needed binoculars to see the detail on them. separate seats as opposed to benches but quite snug fit!. toilets ok & no great queues for them. overall a great weekend

We had a marvellous three days at the track. Our seats in H Block had excellent views of the track (chicane). Sadly the Large Screen TV that should have been in place opposite us was not there and we had a smaller one to look at. We camped at the Track campsite just up the hill which, although basic, was very good.

The information provided was fantastic. It was very easy to come to a new city, speaking a different language, and find our way to the circuit without any issues. There were plenty of places to get food or a beverage, and toilets nearby our stand. Overall a fantastic experience, and already recommended to a number of people.

Excellent venue. We had bus transfer to circuit. Very easy parking close to entrance. No horrible queues in traffic. Great fun.

BookF1 came up trumps with this weekend. The pit walkabout was well organised, and the 3 days of practice, qualifying and the race was from our position in seating H was brilliant. We used the organised coach transport from Barcelona, which was run like a well oiled machine.(the Brits need to take note)even on the final day after the race and with what appeared to be thousands wanting coaches, we only queued for a 5 minutes to get a coach back to Barcelona. Well done BookF1

Great view of race in stand H

Generally great experience but very disappointed with lack of TVs screens. Sat in stand H and would have needed binoculars to view the big screen, spoiled the experience

Great view and really good experience for my first live grand prix. However i feel as though food choice was limited and the one place we did eat at served us a cold burger and when challenged seems as though burger was just microwaved to make warm. The coffee i ordered was cold as if was made with just cold milk and no hot water. Ive been advised other tracks do sell alcohol whereas Barcelona track only sells non alcoholic beer. The days were very warm too and feel as though more shaded seating area was needed around the H stand as we only really found benches under trees. The stand itself had amazing atmosphere but were crammed in and seats were tiny. I didnt let this ruin the experience for me as the view itself and the days we were there were just fantastic.

Stand H is close to entrance 2, parking A2 and also the toilets and food stalls. We parked within 50 yards of entrance 2 by getting there early (0830). Stand H gave a good view of the chicane and we had good seats high up and adjacent to the steps, but there was no overtaking in this section of track. Overtaking seemed to be mainly at the end of the main straight. Also, we suffered somewhat with the heat in the open stand as we were there for the whole 3 days. Food and drink stalls also set up outside in the car park and were cheaper than those inside the circuit. From stand H it was easy to pop out and buy from them.

Trains from Barcelona to the circuit are good and frequent. Free buses with long queues are available or it is a 30-40 minute walk up to the track. Lack of stewards make it a bit of a guess at where to go when you reach the track. Stand "H" advertises a big screen, but we were unable to see anything on the screen due to the distance we were away from it. Watched qualifying and came away having no idea of the positions of the drivers for the race. Bought headsets on race day and this made viewing a little easier. Boring race, with little excitement. We won't be returning.

Booked this for my husbands 60th and read plenty of reviews beforehand to help me make my choice . I was not disappointed , nor was my husband , we had the best experience of the whole weekend . Our seats in stand H were excellent , the bus service was brilliant , so well organised we got to and from the track with no problem . Thank you F1 we were in good hands booking with you , and we will do so again in the future .

Good views of corners and track from stand H. Cars slowed a lot for corners better views of cars at speed from other stands. View of race from stand faces into the sun. Some good viewing positions from general admission areas but these areas get very crowded for the FI GP
11 Mai 2015
More covered seating within the circuit would be beneficial. My advice is to take more protection against the sun than I did.

This was my second time at the circuit but the first with a grandstand ticket. Stand H was an excellent choice as you have unobstructed view of sector 3 with plenty of car action and tv screen to keep you updated. Tickets once again as requested from BookF1. Atmosphere was great and although drinks and food were expensive (just take your own food)I was impressed by their toilet facilities- relatively clean for such a place and short queues. Signposting wasn't great but staff spoke English and accurate directions (more helpful than staff at Monza, who knew minimal English). The Sagales buses provided easy and efficient transportation to and from the circuit. Barcelona F1 2015 for sure!

Great view over the whole complex at the end of the circuit. Easy to reach - 10 minutes stroll from entrance gates. Several sets of stairs to the stand so no queues to access seats at all. Food/drink stalls and toilets very close by. Close to a shaded area with picnic benches for breaks as well. We travelled to Montmelo by train from Sants station in Barcelona. The trains run from platforms 13 and 14. Trains were not overly crowded on the way to the circuit on any of the 3 days. On arrival at Montmelo there are plenty of shops and stalls selling food and drink in plastic bottles (although security did take away a plastic bottle of beer on the 3rd day for some reason). None of the vendors there had put prices up - they were all very reasonable. There were lots of stalls with F1 merchandise (unofficial but looked good quality) on the way through the town. As you reach the end of these there are the shuttle buses. 2.15 Euros each way. Managed to get a seat each time as well as there were plenty and not crowded. It is about a 10 minute walk from the drop off point to the gates. We did go fairly early each day but had no queues at all getting in. The bus was a lot busier going back at the end of the day so we opted to walk by the end - a downhill, shady walk that only took 20 minutes. The trains going back to the city are very busy and exceptionally hot (mobile saunas!) at the end of the race so we stayed for a drink in Montmelo and headed back an hour later which works well. The station at Montmelo is small but well organised - they even had cover outside for the queue. There seem to be no signs, no people guided you but it all worked very well indeed - very smooth. It was a relaxed feel and was much more pleasant than some places where you are herded around. The track facilities didn't look plentiful but there was no longer than a minute or 2's wait for anything at any time. Toilets were kept very clean - the block near stand H had 2 cleaners in it all day. Cleaners were keeping all the public areas tidy as well. Would recommend this circuit to anyone - particularly someone new to overseas circuits.

Booking was easy through book F1 and they got us great seats in section H and well worth the haul up the slope and a gazillion steps. The bus is the ONLY efficient way to get to the track, (even then it's a hike to get inside the circuit) it's cheap and if you stay in the east end of Barcelona you can probably walk to the bus pick up point. Take your own food and drinks (no cans or glass) as with any venue like this prices are extortion and the food is garbage. Loo's are a little short so time yourself! Speaker system is old and other than the grandstand you can hardly hear the speakers, take a radio and tune into the commentary station. Take a pillow for your bum, lotsa sunscreen, headwear, light coloured clothing and layers as when the wind comes up it gets cold. It's a great weekend of racing!
