Main Straight Bleachers (2, 3, 27)

Main Straight Bleachers (2, 3, 27)

24 Rezensionen

Located in front of the grandstands on the start/finish straight, the Main Straight Bleachers offers a panoramic views of the long straight and pit buildings.

What can I see?

The bleachers are opposite the pit building and podium. Some blocks are before, and others alongside the grid. During the race you can see the straight and DRS zones, where cars within one second of another car can activate the DRS, making the car aerodynamically faster than it's rival.

What do I get with my ticket?

Main Straight Bleachers is reserved seating on Saturday and Sunday. The circuit operate a roving policy on Friday 4th September, giving you roaming access to all general admission areas and grandstands (with the exception of Centrale). All 3-Day tickets will have access to the Thursday Pit Lane Walk, subject to confirmation.

Amazing day!

What an amazing day and probably the best race I have been to! I had main straight bleacher seats opposite the pit so got to see so much of the action (and had a few waves from some of the drivers!) Fantastic party atmosphere, plenty of food and drink stands (a token system is operated), great view of the main straight, pit lane and podium. Even made it onto the track after the celebrations. Great day out thank you BookF1!

Security woes

Security at entry were confiscating everyone’s battery charge devices..There were hundreds thrown into big plastic sack with no way to retrieve. At end of race we asked repeatedly and were informed all batteries had been reclaimed. It cost me £65.

Great experience but poor transport organization

It was a great experience to participate in such an event, but shuttle transport from parking left us 30 minutes from the circuit, that is too much, one hour walk in both ways. Lines for shuttle bus after the race are huge, aprox. 30 min waiting in line for the bus. Overall experience would be execellet if there was a better transport or car access organized.

Monza Grand Prix

A fabulous weekend booked as a surprise 50th birthday present for my husband; an avid F1 follower although he'd never been to a live race before. We had a 3 day ticket which we used and despite the dreadful weather that delayed qualifying on the Sat by the longest time ever, we had great seats opposite the pit lane so we were entertained the whole afternoon watching the antics in the pits. The only negative was trying to purchase food as nobody understood the system of queuing to pay for your food and get a ticket, to then queue in an entirely different queue to collect it and if you wanted chips as well as a hot dog that was 2 different queues that you had to wait in for anything up to 20 mins at a time!!!

Good race

Getting to the stadium was easy. On the pit walk day it was chaos. There was no organisation. Unless you were a Ferrari fan they wouldn't let you go near anything or the garages. On the Friday which was roving seating they wouldn't let you go anywhere other than your allocated seats....Unless you were Ferrari then you could do what you liked

Superb weekend of motorsport action

Whilst initially worried about sitting in the lower bleachers seats, the view was great and the atmosphere next to grid the was truly amazing

Fabulous Sunday at Autodromo Nazionale Monza

Excellent service, very quick, accurate and timely email support. I was able to buy a ticket that was not available at any other site. Gorgeous race at Autodromo Nazionale Monza. I recommend this site for your F1 Tickets.

Fantastic place

Sure its a bit rough around the edges and the organisation is shall we say "typically Italian" but there's just something about Monza, the atmosphere is great and its just a nice place to be and wander around, so much history and things to see. We sat in the main straight bleachers, section 27, I think it was 27D but I can't remember now, it was right at the end of that section of stand, closest to the main old grandstand looking over the start finish line. Our seats were level with around 7th on the grid so we got a great view of the build up and the start, right opposite a big screen too which was useful. Obviously being on the main straight and down fairly low next to the track you are limited in what you can see (you can see paribolica if you crane your neck but can't see turn 1, and they are doing 200mph plus as they go past) but for the price (they were €126 each for 3 days on the early bird deal) it was great value. You can sit anywhere you want (apart from the really posh seats) on Friday which was good to see some of the corners etc. I didn't think the facilities were as bad as some reviews would have you believe, the toilets are mainly portaloo type things and as it is the summer in Italy they can whiff a bit but everything I saw was clean enough. I would advise you take a packet of tissues and hand gel just in case. If you have ever been to a music festival in the UK don't worry, they are a million times better than that! The food is a bit meh, plenty of pizza and such the like but its quite pricey for what it is, we took a packed lunch on the race day, they do search bags but don't seem to worry too much about food and drink. The beer was quite reasonably priced (compared to Milan prices anyway!) There was also a beer stall right beside our bleacher which was handy. There are loads of park fountains dotted around the place for filling water bottles. As for the transport, you have to be a fan of walking as all the drop off points are a fair walk from the stands (depending which stand you are in of course)! Very little in the way of signage about trains and busses on the Thursday and Friday but the time honoured follow the crowd worked for us. Here's my not so short idiots guide to how to get there, there are quite possibly better ways but these worked for us. General Trains run to Monza station from Milan Central and Milan Garibaldi. The central trains seem to be the big intercity trains and Garibaldi seems to the smaller regional ones, both are well connected on the subway if you are staying anywhere in Milan. Thursday Go to Monza station, there is no shuttle bus on the Thursday so we had to get the service bus. They were few and far between and very crowded and it took quite a while to get to a nearby bus stop, just followed the crowd to the track. Friday Went from Milan Central to Monza, the shuttle bus does run but it wasn't sign posted, luckily I had heard from someone on the Thursday that you need to go the other way off the platform, like out the back of the station into the car park rather than through the station building and out the main entrance. The shuttle line you need is the black line (I think its the only one from Monza station), a return ticket was €5 if I remember correctly although if you bought your ticket from a trenord machine it gave you the option to buy a combined train and shuttle for €8. The shuttle busses were pretty frequent, crowded but not ridiculously so as there were stewards checking tickets and directing people. Bus ride was about 10 - 15mins then it was a good half hour walk to the track from there, no sign posts in the park but just followed the crowd till I recognised places from the day before. By the afternoon they had had put up signs in the park and at Monza station so it was easier. Saturday Beware, there are very few trains from Milan central to Monza on Saturday morning, we just missed one and the next one would have been too late. So we got back on the tube to the Garibaldi station (by the looks of the hoards of puzzled looking fans we were far from the only ones to make this mistake!) There were plenty of trains from Garibaldi and the guards were very helpful. From there got the shuttle bus again. Sunday We were aware that special trains run to the Lesmo station on the Sunday, I heard a few people say they do on the Saturday too but others said they didn't, I never did find out. However we decided to stick to what we knew and went straight to Garibaldi again as it was far less stressful than Central, same as the previous day got the shuttle bus. On the way home we decided to walk round the track after the race so rather than going all the way back the way we usually came we left at the Lesmo entrance and got the train from the Lesmo station back to Central without issue. The circuit and Monza park itself is just a nice place to walk around so we didn't really mind the long walks to and from the busses. It was nice to walk on the track and we got onto the old banking too (after the race at the opposite end from Paribolica, if you went on any other time they fairly quickly chased you off, there also didn't seem to be any holes in the fence at the Paribolica end whereas there were many at the other end). Overall I would highly recommend it, great atmosphere the whole weekend.

First F1 Experience - Won't be the last

The weekend was amazing! Truly an experience. I bought the weekend as a birthday gift to my husband, but I also found myself enjoying a lot. Devoted Ferrari-fans really get you involved although you are not that into F1. I found myself cheering and jumping, being nervous and excited... Suddenly I had very strong opinions about the drivers and how the situation evolved! :D We stayed at Milan and used the train to get to Monza (from Thu - Sun). Fri-Sun worked perfectly when we spotted the black line shuttle bus departing from the Monza main station. Transportation arrangements were very good. For example on Sunday (the main day!) it took less than an hour to get from Monza to Milan! Shuttle bus was quick and we managed to make it on the 10-min-train. Amazing! And we watched the Podium ceremony (not leaving early). We were preparing for a chaos, but there wasn't any. Okay, the busses and trains are really packed, but you can manage if you don't have strong proximity issues... It is a good idea to have good walking shoes, because there is 20-30 min walk from the edge of the national park where the shuttle bus leaves/picks you up to the actual race venue. But this was no problem, the walking route is beautiful and we did not mind about the walk. If you are sitting on the Main Straight Bleachers like we did, it is good to have something to sit on. The days were rather warm and sunny (+30c). The bench was boiling hot and it would have been like sitting on a frying pan without something in between... not so nice. Needless to say, bring a hat, sun protection, water, own toilet paper and something to disinfect your hands (toilets are not so nice, at least from the female perspective) Something which was strange, there were very little people who could help you out if you tried to ask e.g. where your seats can be found. Whether the problem was that the staff did not know, or they did not speak English (?!) I don't know how this is possible since there are so many people coming from all over the world, and the staff cannot answer to basic questions. So be patient (or know Italian). As a summary, we had so much fun! My husband was thrilled (a Ferrari-fan to the moon and back) and for a not-so-devoted-F1-viewer it was also a great experience. This is definitely not the last race we are going to see!

Great seats. Access to the venue was poor

Larger entrance and exit would help as would extra stewarts

Monza GP 2016

Wonderful seats with good views. Info for newbies could be a bit more comprehensive such as long walk to track if not driving. Take a cushion and toilet roll lol. Packed lunch essential as queues very long and €5 for a can of coke. Would definitely recommend you to others. Loved every minute Hats off to the Heineken D.J. banging tunes

Overall amazing experience

It has been an amazing experience. We had an excellent view of traffic however, it will be good to know how the tickets for main straight bleachers are picked, is it a ballot? The facilities could be better , specially the toilets. The food and drink choice could improve. It was more like a rugby or football match and no F1.

Italian gran prix

It was a great weekend! Managed to get and see everything I wanted to. Toilet facilities could have been better- there were no toilet rolls nor hand washing facilities provided. Other than that it was good.

Bad customer service for repeat customer

Weekend was good, seats could have been better, I felt the little things this year weren't as good as previous years, one example specifically was I got no ticket holders to hang the tickets around my neck. Every year I booked previous I had received these but this year I was just given tickets and nothing else which seen its my third year booking with this website I would expect the customer service to increase for repeat business.

Race Weekend

All I can say that this was an absolute fantastic weekend !! I had never been to an F1 race before the atmosphere was electric from qualifying to the end of the race and the walking along the track afterwards was something special too. I would totally recommend this circuit to anybody.
